Well hello readers...whoever you are...sorry i havent posted in a while. I've busy (suprised? ha.) and we are counting down the week until we leave on our quite-insane-road-trip with the college group next Sunday. I think I have everything I need, and there's always much shopping to do on these trips anyway. I mean, it's NYC! Whoo hoo! Home of the 5-story-best-Old-Navy-in-the-world! And other stores we don't have here....
Anyway, planning this trip hasn't been too stressful, and I think we have real places, that really exist, to stay in! If you don't understand that statement, ask me about last year's trip...I'll just say we had 18 college students loose in The City and we had no where to stay for the first night we were there...stressful, to sday the least. Still not very funny, even a year later.
In other news, the Passion team is over in Kuala Lumpur, and that's where my new "profile pic" is from. rfead Louie's blog to hear the details. God is doing big things in a nation that is the largest Muslim nation in the world.
We are also trying to buy a new car. The Maximas are finally giving out. They are at the age where it just gets too expensive to keep sinking money into the car, even though they probably could run a few more thousand miles. So, like Greta's "ode to the Maxima", we are probably going to say good-bye to Max (Scott's) this week. We're going to stay in the Nissan family, and we are trying to find a Pathfinder. Now, I am not huge on cars and am not very particular, so i don't really care what color, etc. All I care about is an air conditioner and a place to plug my iPod up to. Scott, however is being quite picky....it's kinda funny. So, the hunt is on. We want a grey or silver 2005-2007 Pathfinder SE with as low mileage as we can get for around $16-18K. Anyone have one they want to sell???
We'll let you know when we get it...
